Orion Foldable Bamboo Study Desk

Pros: It is very flexible as I no longer need to have the power board on the floor. It has also got provision for a few books on the bottom shelf. If and when I don't need it I can turn it into a TV stand for my 42" LCD TV. I mainly liked it because of it's compact size. Even with its limited size I have room for a 24" monitor, a Macbook Pro, an Apple Mac mini, two iPads, Bose headphones, a mini trash bin and my glass of scotch whisky! Cons: It's very light and may convey the feeling it is flimsy but so far nothing has come crashing down. It may look like expensive teak in the picture but it is bamboo at the end of the day. Not suitable if you plan to spread half a dozen books but it is ideal if space is limited.

I purchased this table for my Yoga room. This is a very solid timber table and timed it when it was on sale - very good value for money. When doing yoga, I close the table to allow more room and hides books. Which makes the room very tidy. In meditation I use it as a puja table which is perfect. I open the table to journal and take notes when reading resources. Love my purchase!

I’m quite delighted with this as it has fitted perfectly into the space I had as I rarely have need of a desk in a small apartment. I was also pleased with how large the work surface is when opened and it is a lot more solid than what I was expecting as well.

Very good for the price. Part of a star dropped for very basic assembly instructions. There are photos of how it should look after each step, but no diagrams to indicate placement of pieces in the process. Another part dropped because one hole needed a bit more drilling to get a screw into it, and two others had apparently been over-drilled as the screws went in easily but didn't get to a point where they stopped turning.

Perfect for the minimalistic design, acts as a book shelf when the desk isn’t in use, how good! Simple look and accommodates the room space well, love it!

The desk is great, but the assembly instructions are ridiculously inadequate.

Relatively easy to put together and it suits our purpose.

While this product looks pretty good once it’s assembled the instructions to carry out the assembly are poor and not precise. You need to understand about the two legs requiring to be mirror imaged and it says that nowhere. I think the instructions need to be edited so that they are useful to a novice.

In terms of quality and value for money and space saving ideas for a desk this is 10/10. Easy to put together and folds down effortlessly. I’ve put a little box on top of the back panel on mine for a second screen and it works perfectly. Love the lower shelf too.

Overall it is ok, the finish quality is a little cheaper than as it appears in the images online. Storage underneath is ok. The less 2 stars is for the feel of quality.

Just tye right size foe the area I have for a small desk.

Colour not as shown, plus instructions not explicit enough.

It is way too short to be a desk - very disappointed.
