It has the texture of a microfiber cloth so people with dry skin/cracked heels or those who hate the feeling of microfiber should consider other options. This also makes it extremely susceptible to picking up dirt and it is hard to vaccuum some bits up even with the brush bar. Rug looks nice but would also advise against purchasing if you have pets. I understand and accept that animals will always pull threads on fabric but this has been far more susceptible to it than any other rug I have owned or bought from here.

This fabric seems to attract all the dirt. Needs to be vacuumed daily. I do have pets and kids so if you don't it'd probably be fine. It's quite thin underfoot so needs an underlay for comfort.
