This piece worked for a few reasons - the colours are perfectly matched to the sofa, cushions & rug of the living room where it now hangs. Also, the birds in the piece add to the soundtrack & visuals outside my windows - of local birds flying in the distance & singing all day…the sounds bring the painting to life in the most perfect way. It adds warmth to the room as the sunlit sky shares the palette of a crackling fireplace. I have the 61cm x 91cm….My only complaint is that I wish the larger size wasn’t discontinued as I would have got that one. But this one still looks fantastic.
