The actual bed base is good and I love how it looks. My main gripes are with the panels in the bed head and the assembly process. It took at least an hour for me and a friend to put the back panels together. The back at the bottom as someone has mentioned is very flimsy. A more solid form of wood should have been used. The instructions were also unclear and missed an instruction with the H bolts on the front. It was only through a process of elimination that my friend worked it out. The assembly took around five hours all together which was way longer than it should have. The actual gas lift is great though and I’m happy with the look of the bed but the instructions need to be clearer and the bottom back needs to be solid wood not the flimsy backing that was used.

The bedhead and wooden frame is very flimsy plywood, it has already broken from just sitting up in bed. The gaslift mechanism is sturdy and works well, just wish the rest of the bed was as heavy duty. Disappointing considering the price.
