Machine wash with cold water using the gentle cycle; do not use bleach; before washing, shake your rug out to remove excess buildup; to remove any dirt or debris, hand vacuum the rug on the lowest setting, without the beater bar, & with a roller attachment

When I received it earlier this year it had a few notches in it but as description said hand made so imperfections normal I acceted that but as time passed every now and then some lose threads apear and I have to poke them back in. I have now rolled it up to recycle it.
