Please note, rug images are taken in a studio environment, please allow for colour variations depending on your monitor settings and the lighting environment in your home. Always follow care instructions on the label of your rug. Rotate your rug every 3-6 months to reduce uneven wear & tear. Lightly vacuum once or twice a week using the lightest possible setting. Avoid powerful vacuums that may pull fibres loose from the base of the rug. Vacuum the base of your rug occasionally, as dirt can accumulate here as well. Blot spills with a paper towel or colourless cloth, do not wipe or scrub, and spot clean with a small amount of gentle detergent and warm water. It took me ages to choose a rug pattern that suited my room. The pile on this rug is very unusual. One side of the fibre is really shiny and reflects the light, where as the other side of the fibre is lovely and matte. This rug looks different depending on the way the light hits the rug. The rug looks great at night, but during the day when light hits it it’s shiny which is really irritating. The pattern is lovely, but unfortunately when the light hits the rug all you see is white dots and a shimmery glow. I’m not particularly thrilled having paid over $400 to have this kind of effect. This is meant to be a vintage style rug but it looks like it’s made of cheap polyester the way it shimmers in the light. I’ve added photos where I have brushed the pile in both directions with my hand so you can see for yourself. Overall, I’m disappointed with this rug.

Lovely rug. In the larger size, it is more a warm creamy colour in general. Some of the bits that look bright in the pictures are not dominant. It is easy to match with a lot of tones. The construction is well done and the texture is soft despite being a manufactured type. Hopefully the moths won't like it! I would by another one.
