This enthralling piece represents Biripi people's connection to Djarii Bila or Taree river. "It is a significant river that is considered like the blood of the valley. It feeds our land, it is a direct connection to the mountains & the sea, & it provides my people with food & a way to cleanse. It is the beginning of the journey for the mullet as they live & grow in this system until the waters change in the winter & the hairy grubs start to travel.
Then, the mullet travel north up our coast to the next river mouth. Our fisherman chased the mullet hauling them on the shore of our beach, Crowdy Bay, & all the people gather to help share it."

Disappointed in this product as has been roped to hang sideways and now I have to take it to town and get it strung the right way.

Very pretty piece and adds great colour to the meeting room we purchased the art for. We are also glad to have Aboriginal art in the office to add culture and represent indigenous peoples of Australia.

Beautiful picture which fits the area chosen for it perfectly. Delivery took a little longer than expected as the couriers decided several times that they couldn't make the delivery on the date they quoted.
