The listing says that it is soft and luxurious underfoot. It is Not. The wool is coarse and scratchy - there is no chance you'd be wanting to sit on it/lie on it with bare skin. The kids aren't keen on it as it is scratchy so it'll stay clean. The listing says shedding for 2-3months and it still shedding after 2 months. It looks elegant, the pictures are colour accurate and as it is wool it will be long lasting but not a soft, tactile rug.

I’m really happy with this rug. It does look navy to me in the picture but on the floor it hints at a blue/green teal colour. I’m very happy with the colour.
