Mahzun Chair Mat with Grippers

As described. Firm plastic was initially difficult to unroll, however once this was achieved it flattened quickly. Does have a strong plastic smell which I imagine will settle with time.

Bought the dark chair mat for my home office to protect my carpet. It's a great large size and fits perfectly under my T&W adjustable desk. Would definitely recommend.

We bought 2 to replace Aldi ones but ended up needing to put the Aldi ones on top, as these are only 2mm thick and very soft plastic. They sink in the carpet and chair wheels get stuck. Aldi ones are 3mm and a much firmer plastic. Also I checked the strong smell on Google and it probably is VOC's, which are deadly to aquarium fish, so we've had the window open for a week, and they still smell. I think T & W should use the Aldi supplier in future.

Good quality, works well

so far the product appears suboptimally rigid. While it is better than trying to move the chair on carpet, with the weight of a 90kg person sitting in the chair it creates significant divots in the plastic preventing the chair from rolling freely.

I was really excited about this purchase, hoping the mat would prevent my chair from getting stuck in the carpet under my desk. Unfortunately, I’m quite disappointed, the chair now gets stuck on the mat itself. The material is a soft plastic, and the wheels don’t glide smoothly over it. Instead of solving the problem, it’s created a new one.

Taking a long time to flatten out, but serves its purpose and good size.

Exactly as advertised. Great addition to the home office.

Suits our needs and is heavier duty than others of same price point.

The mat itself is very good, however I was under the impression the mat would arrive flat, however it was rolled up and took quite a bit of effort to become flat.

The chemical smell was overwhelming once unwrapped for nearly a week post receiving, and it also took 3 days to flatten for use.

Great size, good colour, blends into carpet perfectly.

Fantastic mat! Grips to the carpet well and it hasn't moved or slid since I've placed it down. Only downside is the smell of the plastic which has a light scent to it. I think this scent will dissipate over time though.

It's quite good to have if you have carpet.

No complaints, exactly what I needed.. rolling around on a 5-wheel office chair, this is taking my 165kg weight just fine and protecting the carpet beneath.

Soft, not good for anything other than super low piie. Unable to use it. Smells bad.

Bought 2 of these mats 12 months ago for my older teens bedrooms, so they have had an extensive (!) amount of use. Just recently the plastic has started to split on both mats, mostly where the chair wheels have created pressure points. Despite this, I would probably buy these mats again - they have protected the carpet really well and survived under great pressure for 12 months.

Sadly this piece did not last long at all, and after about 2 months of use the plastic began to crack and disintegrate.

Fantastic value and flattened very quickly

This chair mat is fantastic and looks nice too. I put it out in the sun for 10 minutes then laid it on the carpet and put a pile of books on each corner so that they laid flat. The next day it looked like it had been there forever.

definitely takes a while to lay flat - i recommend leaving out in the sun on a hot day. much better, however, than the yucky clear plastic ones.

Nice colour, although it slips around on the carpet pretty easily. The 'pins' don't do an amazing job going into the carpet to stay in place.

Took 4 days to unravel it. This should not come rolled up as it is hard plastic and it was ridiculously difficult to unroll. It took 3 people to get it flat enough to place heavy weights on and it took 4 days to settle enough to remove the weights.
