As what I expected

Exactly what we need as tenants. Our previous home had a magnetic strip fixed to the wall. This looks great and is very fit for purpose.

Smaller than I wanted. Doesn’t fit a normal knife set.

Looks great in kitchen Sturdy I have 6 knives in mine so much easier than having knives in draws

This knife block looks good and functions well. I have a set of 7 global knives on this block and they fit, even if they don't fit with much space to spare. I wall mounted the block- it's not really designed for that and it took a little bit of finagling with a 3D printer and some wall screws, but it can certainly be done. It did need proper wall screws because the block is fairly heavy and the knives are a few centimeters from the wall- double sided tape isn't going to hold the block up. (Ask me how I know!) The block is quite magnetic and amply strong enough to hold most knives, I find the smallest pairing knife has the weakest hold, so I'm a little careful putting that one back. It probably doesn't help that I have the block vertical rather than slightly tilted. I'm taking one star off just because I'd like the block to better support wall mounting with screw mount holes and slightly stronger magnets. But I think it looks really good and I like it!
