MM Design Cameroon Shield on Stand

This handcrafted Cameroon shield on a stand is made from iroko wood and steel, hand-painted and finished in a dark wood tone. An authentic item from Africa, the shield was an important part of tribal weaponry and carried spiritual and social symbolism, often showing parades of native animals. Use it as a striking floor ornament to add tribal chic to modern urban homes, bringing a sense of heritage, texture and conversation to living rooms, hallways or entrances. It suits eclectic interiors and complements timber furniture.
