Luther Kids' House Bed Frame

Takes a bit of patience to put together solo but pretty simple. Overall it’s a pretty good bed frame for a kids bed. Loses a star for having cheap, flimsy, weak, noisy plywood slats. I upgraded the slats myself by choosing 14 1.2m long pieces of solid pine timber and cutting them to size of 107.5cm long and screwing them into the frame, it made a huge difference. We also removed the cross beam at the entry/exit point on the side of the bed because as adults we would often hit our head on it and it just got in the way, much better after removing that piece and can still decorate the other cross beams. Have co slept on it many times and it’s sturdy and supportive enough after my upgrades. Some better slats and I would have rated it 5 stars.

Pretty happy with this purchase. It’s a flatpack, so putting it together took some time but it’s doable! The “entrance” or opening to the bed can be adjusted to either side, to suit the room. I like that it’s very low to the floor, so even if your child moves around so much that they fall off the bed, the distance to the floor is minimal! There are a few minor things that I personally find annoying: first one is that the corners and the edges are not rounded. It’s a kids bed, and it’s wooden, it would’ve be a bit safer if it was rounded. Second thing is that the bed creaks when you sit on it - it’s probably the slats, as they’re screwed onto the bed frame -but it is annoying, especially when you’re trying to sneak out of the bed after the child sleeps! The third and final thing - depends on the mattress you purchase - ours is quite snug and heavy, so it’s a bit of a hassle to change the sheets as there’s little room around the mattress (cause of the raised sides). Otherwise, it’s a very pretty one, can accessorise with lights or drape over the top with some cloth to make a canopy!

Absolutely gorgeous… bought canopy separately. Easy to assemble. The grandchildren love to convert to indoor cubby as well as sleepovers..

I bought this king single bed for my daughter and couldn’t be happier with it. It looks beautiful in her room, feels sturdy and well made, and was exactly as pictured online. Assembly was straightforward, and once put together it feels solid with no squeaks or movement. The king single size is perfect, giving her plenty of room to grow while still fitting nicely in her bedroom. Overall, it’s fantastic value for money and I’m really happy with the quality. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and practical bed for their child.

We purchased the Temple & Webster King Single House Bed for our daughter’s first big bed, and we couldn’t be happier with it. Good quality frame

Came as looks, have had for almost two years now and still looks as new. Easy to put together, and even better it’s easy to move on our tiles to vacuum under!

The bed is really cute and fits the space well. It was easy enough to put together.. Surprisingly sturdy but does make a lot of noise when moving around on it. Other than that it’s perfect

Easy to assemble, though as a toddler bed, I’m surprise there’s a lot of sharp edges so something to keep in mind if you’re transitioning from a cot to a bed.

Great first bed for my toddler. She is absolutely obsessed with it. I will say however that the bottom slats will need to be replaced if you want to be able to lay in the bed with your child, lots of creaking.

Surprisingly sturdy bed, looks great and is easy to dress up for any kids tastes. Relatively easy to construct. Only downside is it is definitely a challenge to change the sheets with the side rails on the bed, and as an adult you will definitely hit your head at least once on the roof section.

My little niece is absolutely besotted with her new bed. We have decorated it with fairy lights and have turned into more of a cubby house bed. Now putting her to bed is a breeze rather than a battle. Love it!

Great bed, my daughter absolutely loves it. My only 2 issues was that the railing edge on the open side of the bed is quite sharp, I had to put pool noodles around the bed. It is also a pain to change the bed sheets with the bed rails on. I have taken them off now because of this. Otherwise a gorgeous bed and no regrets about my purchase.

Got this bed for my tween AuDHD daughter who doesn't like anything "hiding under her bed" at night. The canopy gives her a sense of being enclosed and cosy with a sheet or blanket thrown over. We will probably take off the side barrier as it's more likely she'll catch her leg on it and she jumps over it. The only downside is it's quite lightly constructed. I'm not sure how long it will last with my very energetic kid. We previously had a Bunkers bed which is solid as a rock even after 10 yrs of use. We'll just have to see.

Really easy to build when you have 2 people. My 3yo girl transitioned from a cot to this on her 3rd Birthday and she absolutely loves it. It is beautiful, sturdy and the perfect transition bed. We were worried she would start getting up and walking to our room but nope, she loves her new bed so much

Bought as a first bed for our 4yo. Easy to put together, does creak a little bit as other reviewers have mentioned due to the screwed in slats, but it’s not really a problem for us. Once she’s asleep a few creaks won’t wake her if we’ve had to co-sleep for a bit. Really happy with the frame for the price paid, hoping to decorate with some fairy lights for her. I removed the front cross bar as I kept snacking my head on it, and the guard rail as it was the same height as our mattress and therefore pointless. Recommend checking the height of your mattress if this is an important feature for you.
