There is no provision for sand pockets to secure the tent. There are small loops and pins but they are useless because they are too small to even make them stick in the sand.

This item doesn’t fold down to a small item, it stays one metre wide, but easy to find in garage when not in use. Should be handy on the beach with little ones.
