This a great lamp and feels very premium, the only issue is the installation is a little finnicky as you have you twist the cord before placing together so that the cord realigns to normal when you screw onto the base

Actually the lamp is lovely but the problem - for me - is that even with the lowest watt and even with a low lumins soft green globe - the globe light stands out and hurts your eyes. I am using a 5w globe and I cannot look directly at the lamp ! What a shame. Unfortunately, for that reason I cannot recommend this lamp even though it is pretty. I learned never to get a glass 'shade'
