Ivory Astrid Hand-Woven Rug

Good rug, I've had it more than a year. Straight edges distort over time but I have had it rolled up and moved several times.

Thick and heavy

Difficult to clean as fibres lift up when cleaning. Loops pull out and raise very easily.

Beautiful - softens the room

This rug was lovely when it first arrived but didn't wear well at all. Overall a disappointing purchase that I discarded when I moved house.

MUST be used with a rubber underlay, otherwise disforms with very light walking. Edges aren't straight.

A bit disappointed that some threads have come lose after just 2 weeks. The rug is in a very low traffic room too. Hoping no more areas come lose as it is a beautiful rug.

LOVE THIS RUG. Arrived within 8 days. Exactly as pictured. It's so good that I bought another in light grey for upstairs. It's a beautiful light ivory colour and very soft under your feet.. Im obsessed. It's obviously a lot lighter than my pic but this is the only pic I had which was taken at night and with a filter. Don't hesitate to purchase this rug! You won't be disappointed. Amazing quality. It's almost like walking on a cloud

Has a lot more coloured/grey flecks in the weave than pictured, but still lovely and plush. It took a lot of vacuuming to reduce the shedding. The only issue is that it does not stay square with ease, but rather ever so slowly shifts around as you walk on it. This means that you often have to adjust it so that it doesn't look wonky next to furniture. I have it in my bedroom so this isn't a huge issue, but it might be annoying if it were placed in a high traffic area.

Love this rug. Beautifully soft underfoot and looks great. The colour is closer to white or a very soft ivory colour. Ita not cream. Has little flecks of brown and grey throughout. It does shed a little but nothing a quick vacuum can't handle. Good quality, no loose threads. Really love it in our living room space.

Absolutely loving our rug, it goes so nicely with all of our furniture and the quality is great!

We find it very hard to make a decision without seeing something in person, but we are so happy we chose this rug. After days of looking through rug after rug, we decided we wanted something thick and luxurious which would suit our formal lounge space. The Astrid is soft underfoot, textured (so it has high and low spots - but we love that), and the pile is a perfect height. I would say it's quite delicate, so care will need to be taken with young children and pets, and a gentle vacuum setting or just dusting the rug out once in a while. Definitely suits an adults-only area - challenge happily accepted. Photos show colour and pile height. Ignore the placement of furniture, its a "work in progress", and not a good example of how large the 230x320 rug is. It would comfortably fit a couch, coffee table and two chairs/additional couch.

Feels great under foot and looks great but quite a few strands of wool come loose. Also it sheds quite a bit and we find little wool tumbleweeds around the floorboards. Overall it is a nice rug though.

I love this rug, it's perfect

Nice thick rug. Does create piles of white lint around the house but easy to keep in check with regular vacuuming. The rug texture is lovely and thick underfoot BUT it does make it lumpy if you want to put a yoga mat on top for yoga/stretching. Also my toddler hates that his train tracks don't sit very well on it.
