The 5000K led bulbs I purchased give good slightly blue light which I can balance with similar 4000K bulbs which provide slightly warm light. The perfect true neutral white light lies somewhere between the two temperatures. However often one or the other is needed depending on the task. For example is a graphite drawing of a person with blond hair and a warm toned skin. In this instance the 4000K light emphasises the tonal values of the hair and skin. The 5000K light tends to flatten those details a bit. If the reference photo of the subject had cooler colours then the 5000K light is likely to be better. Having both colour temperatures on hand is very useful in my studio. Sorry no photo for privacy reasons.
