I was greatly disappointed to see that the bed head is FAUX TIMBER not solid timber as the headline and infographics of the product suggests. The frame is pine but the bed head is faux timber (AKA toxic particle board and I can’t see any low emission certification). Be very careful buying this bed! I will no longer be able to use it for my toddler out of concern for the toxic formaldehyde emissions. There was also a timber beam for the base that was split - came out of the box that way. Bed is a good size for a toddler bed and otherwise sturdy but I was very disappointed that the bed head was fake timber and the frame already being split was very disappointing. Don’t recommend!!
