About the Designer
Lia Porto
Born in Patagonia, Argentina, Lia moved to Buenos Aires where she graduated as a lawyer and worked for several years, but art had such a powerful attraction on her that she switched from writings to brushes. She trained in painting and in engraving. Her work is characterized by her “industriousness” and complexity, with organic images and various focal points. Glazes, layers of color, lines and dots, weave a strange world, both natural and artificial, that awakens the imagination of the spectator.

I am so happy with this framed canvas piece! The quality is exceptional, I haven't seen such a high quality finish in canvas art before. I love the artist, Lia Porto, and will definitely be buying some more of her collection to compliment this piece. The Home Guardians printed wall art brings our lounge room to life.

Lia Porto's Wall Art Series is simply stunning. The large oblong print I purchased is called "Home Guardians." The Turquoise base is Luminous and the intense profusion of the scene is a study in Opulence. I have only just got the picture back from framing and even the lovely Tradie who hung the picture said it was beautiful. I had it framed by "The Total Picture" in Toowong in Brisbane and the result was enchanting with a wide turquoise border and a gold frame. Lia Porto has created a sumptuous series with her Wall Art which quite simply outclasses everything else.
