So, here's the yarn. Back on the 16th of March, 2024, I decided to snag myself a Harper Wood and Steel Desk from the good folks over at Temple & Webster. Now, before you scratch your head wondering why I'm talking about a desk, let me spill the beans. I wasn't after a desk for the usual reasons. Nah, I had my sights set on turning this beauty into a coffee bar. A bit unconventional? Maybe. But, so far, it's been a ripper of a decision! Delivery and Setup: First off, the delivery was faster than a kangaroo on a hot day, arriving even before the estimated date. Putting it together was a breeze, too. The instructions were as clear as a sunny Aussie sky, making the whole process smoother than a well-creamed coffee. Design and Quality: This desk... sorry, my new coffee bar, is a real looker. It's got this minimalist vibe that can blend in with any room like it was made for it. The wood top is as stunning as a sunset at Uluru, and the steel frame? Solid as a rock. It's a tad shorter than your typical coffee bar, but that's been no drama at all. Functionality as a Coffee Bar: Turning the Harper Desk into a coffee bar has been a brilliant move.
