Haines 4 Seater Modular Sofa & Ottoman Set

First time buying without trying, but I'm going to be very honest, I only have 2 major concerns which I will state towards the end. Firstly, the ordering process was very easy to do and the delivery was extremely efficient and effective. The measurement advice was slightly off, as comparable to my old lounge, there should only be 1cm difference between them yet there is almost 5 inchs in depth and height differences(the new lounge being far smaller. The length of the lounge is amazing, and the overall comfort so far is ok as it's only been 1 day since arrival, now it does state 72hours for full expansion of all cushions ect so we have to trust the process. My concern with the cushions are out of the 4back rest cushions, 2 were nice and thick, and the other 2 are scraggly, slim, so you can feel the 1-inch thick back rest pressing through to your back. The Ottomans are great, can't fault them as yet. The armrests are a lot lower and a slim cushion compared to what's advertised, but I'm sure I can add more cushions to suffice in the short term. Now the biggest issue is the back rest support or lack of, they are extremely thin and flimsy, if not against a wall I would highly advise sitting back with subtle ease and minimal force there is a easy 2inch flex back and could snap (I am looking at modifying this somehow to prevent anyone getting hurt, I shouldn't have to modify a new lounge but this is what we have to work with at present) if its against the wall theres no issues. The height is lower compared to what's stated, but again, you can add lifters if needed. So overall in the first 24hours since its arrival, my main concerns are: 1. light measurement inaccuracies, 2. flimsy back rest if not against the wall, 3. steep armrests, 4. x2 out of 4 back rest cushions are extremely slim, 5. partially concerned for my bulky OH leaning back too hard or attempting to get up and out of the lounge. Above all, the material feels great, the colour we chose is perfect, and it fits well in our lounge area perfectly.

Pretty good couch for the price. The back feels a little bit flimsy when you’re sitting on it, but it’s fairly comfortable to lay on. The colour is also a little darker than in the pictures. It was delivered really fast too, much earlier than estimated which was great.

I can honestly say I’m very disappointed with the quality. The overall build feels extremely cheap. The frame is so thin that you can actually feel the wood when leaning back, which makes it feel unstable, almost like it could fall apart. It’s not sturdy or supportive at all, which is really concerning for something that’s meant to be used daily. The cushions and foam are also of very low quality. They flatten easily and provide little to no support, especially in the backrest. Instead of feeling comfortable, it just feels like you’re sitting against poorly stuffed pillows. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, this feels more like a budget, low-end product rather than something worth investing in. What’s even more disappointing is that every guest who has sat on it has commented on the poor quality without me even mentioning it first. Overall, I don’t believe this lounge is worth the money at all, and I regret the purchase. I would not recommend it.

Excellent, soft, spacious and comfy

Whilst this sofa looked lovely on the video, it is very deceiving. The sofa came packaged in two boxes, vacuum sealed. It is exceptionally low, and the cushions take about 72 hours to fill out but still does not give it height of a regular sofa by a few inches. The back is not at all comfortable, very stiff and the back cushions to do not inflate to negate this. On the video thr sofa goes to roughly someone's knee height but more like shin height. This is more a child's sofa than an adults. The feet are plastic and tacky looking. Really not happy with the purchase or the inflated result. As you can see in the picture even the coffee table is higher!

There is a lot the love about this lounge, the colour is amazing, the quality of the fabric is great. Opening the packaging and assembly was easy, it does take a few days for the cushions to fully expand. After a few months use the side arms have flattened and you need to constantly readjust all the cushions to plump everything back up. I do recommend this for the price, the quality is great. Though I feel this wont be a long lasting piece.

Terrible buy. The photos are not what you expect. Yes its long enough, but the cushions slide. Only the end ones have Velcro. When you look online, it looks like a family sofa with high backs and enough space. In real life its an incredibly low back that is not supported at all by the cushions. I thought I was choosing a good quantity with Temple and Webster, but I should have just gone to another company.

Lounge came very quickly, within 3-4 days. Lounge is mostly as expected, except one of the seat cushions has not inflated at all since being unpacked.

Not what was expected. The back of the couch is weak and had to be screwed in, making it difficult to sit on and becoming uncomfortable quickly. Really not worth the price. A low-grade couch that should be under the $900.00 mark. I won't ever buy online again. A couch is a 10-year choice, and this was a 10-year blunder. Not worth it. The armrests are velcro-connected cushions and not solid for comfortable sitting. Sitting in the seat itself, your head is pushed against the wood backing, and the back rear cushion gets pushed down .using the ottoman makes your position even more challenging. There's no comfort zone for your head to rest on. You have to lie low in a position that is not natural. After 15 to 20 minutes, you need to readjust to remove pressure off your lower back, shoulders, and neck. If you like sitting up like you're at attention while watching television, this is the couch for you. Can't see it lasting long-term, maybe 3 to 4 years of usage before it's on council cleanup. One good thing: you can move the pieces around, and assembly is easy.

At first, the lounge was great, comfortable. But a few months go by, and it's lost all its shape and has faded in colour (it's not in sunlight). For what I paid, I wish I'd bought it in a store. The backrest is so low it's not comfortable. Unfortunately, I'm regretting this purchase.

Couch is comfy but you need grips because the cushions keep sliding when you lay on it

Large, takes up more room than it appears. I personally don't find it very comfortable, seat cushions are lower than ottomans, makes my lower back ache. Have to add throw cushions. Have to straighten constantly or it looks like messy like an unmade bed. It's my first new sofa in over ten years so give me time with it

The bottom cushions are super soft and comfy. The back is quite hard and steep up against your back, really feels more appropriate for lying down. You can’t lean against the sides. It isn’t the largest lounge, but it is for the most part comfortable. Good value for money on sale.

Love my lounge

Very nice lounge I love how it can be moved around however the only downside is the facts are a bit flimsy to need to be placed against a wall but that’s perfect for my home

Nothing like the picture. No back rest or support. Very low to the ground.

The back rest that connects to the seat is very thin and flimsy, it actually moves and wobbles, which it shouldn't. So when you sit back on the lounge it will move back and is at yhe risk of snapping. The height of the back and from floor to seat is shorter than described on the website. I do not recommend buying this lounge, the colour and material is beautiful, but that's all the nice things I can say about it. Save your money and buy a different model

Great value for money. Couch is a little low, I was aware of this so it is not an issue. We love it.

The backrest of this lounge is thin and flimsy. While the base pieces of the lounge are interlocked, the backrest is not and if feels it could break easily.
