The bed fame and lifting feature is really good quality and a bang for your buck. The instructions though are absolutely horrendous to make the bed. You need two people to make it and lots of patients. Wish that the instructions included a video, it would make the process alot easier.

Arrived in good time, and despite the reviews on it being challenging to put together, hubby put it together in a few hours on his own. Looks tidy and very good value for money for a spare bedroom. The storage under the bed is an excellent feature to keep bulky items like duvets, pillows etc out of wardrobes.

Bed is actually really good, better than expected The frame is cheap material but you get what you pay for. I read a lot of reviews about vague instructions and I have to agree with that; I feel like some steps are missing and few of the images are backwards/upside down, so it's easy to make a mistake. Also, I had an issue with the gas lift piston not closing but I did some research and found out that they come locked so you have to push the gas lift down just above the piston to unlock it, now the bed lifts up/down no worries. The instructions don't tell you that. It took me approx 4hrs to assemble solo, so you do need to be patient. Upon completion, the bed is stable with the mattress on top. Make sure you check you have all the components before assembly too. I couldn't find the fittings and instructions, but they were tucked in between panels, not where you would expect to find it.

This bed is great! Adds some much needed storage space to our bedrooms. Be aware that while the gas lifts are good, they also can’t handle a heavy mattress and quilt. We have to remove the winter quilt for the lifts to stay up, otherwise, we have to hold the bed up.

Does the job. It struggled to hold the weight of our king size mattress when lifted, but our mattress is pretty heavy. It's just a 2 person job so you don't risk it falling on you when you're getting something from under the bed. The components of the flat pack are well made and work in harmony to build a solid bed. The flat pack assembly has a couple of head scratching moments but if you work methodically the project is very achievable for one person over a two hour period.
