Bought this for my teen daughter at her request and it is far nicer in reality than the picture suggests. The green is a little darker. It was pretty easy to follow the instructions though took me hours as I have a frozen shoulder and recovering from a broken foot. The slats are a little rough so have to remember when making the bed to avoid getting splinters - that is the only draw back. Lift works well and plenty of room underneath for storage. Daughter is very pleased with her new bed.

The bed was quite frustrating to assemble as there were several very similarly sized screws, each with a different purpose, and easy to mix up. We had to screw and unscrew parts several times. The gas struts are not quite strong enough for our mattress though, so it is hard to access the space underneath safely. The bed looks great with our headboard though.

A lot of pieces and most of them were unlabelled. Took us almost 4h to assemble. If you don’t mind it ruining your day plans then get it. If you don’t have all day then it’s not for you. Looks good once assembled though. Haven’t tried lifting it open with our thick heavy mattress.
