So far so good. We bought this bed to replace a double bed in our spare room which has odd dimensions of 230cm x 230cm. Not sure how often we'll use the trundle bed as when it's pulled out it takes up almost the whole room. Putting it together was fairly easy with me and my partner. The main bed frame took less than an hour between us. I put the trundle part together on my own in less than an hour. The only difficult part of putting it together was attaching the castors/wheels. The little wrench provided as part of the kit wasn't the right size to tighten the castors/wheels. Thankfully I had a few of these sorts of wrenches from previous furniture build kits and I had one that was the right size to tighten. We bought two 16cm foam mattresses from IKEA, which is the max size that fits the trundle without about 5mm to spare as there is an extra "leg" for the bed that you have to fold up to allow the trundle to fit underneath, that takes up quite a bit of the clearance.
