About the Manufacturer
In 2002, Jason Stoter was studying abroad at the Universidad de Guadalajara in Mexico. During this time Jason stumbled across an entrepreneur selling hammocks on the West Coast of Mexico. It was love at first sight with the hammocks and Jason proceeded to strike a deal and purchase his first hammock. After his studies, he sourced hammocks from several villages in the Yucatan peninsula that had been weaving hammocks for generations. This was the beginning of Hammock Village. The next few years experienced tremendous growth as the outdoor living market continued to boom. And as a result of the year over year growth, an inspiring change was made and Hammock Village now calls itself Vivere Ltd. A beautiful looking swing seat for my tween daughters new 'grown up' bedroom. It's lovely and soft to sit in. We had to buy the chain and carabiner and had the builder reinforce the beam (while building the room) where it hangs from to make sure it is safe. The only negative is there is a frayed part on one of the swings ropes but I don't think it will affect its use, and it would be great if the cushion cover was removable for washing (being white) but I was aware it wasn't removable after reading other reviews before purchasing. I am extremely happy with my purchase. . This was a surprise for our daughter and she was very very happy with it when we revealed her new room.I often find her just quietly, calmly sitting in her swing chillin'.

Definitely worth the wait. Great quality and very comfortable to sit in. It has a great length chain attached so plenty of room to move when installing. Brilliant purchase! This swing sits in a corner in my teenage daughters bedroom and we all love to sit in it. It's a great size, very comfortable and strong enough that you feel safe sitting in it. Be sure to fix it properly into the ceiling but as long as you do that you will be fine. We also used some rope to connect the top of the swing to the hook as we wanted it to be a bit lower. Great product. Very happy!

A really beautiful chair which can fit an average size adult. You do need to purchase things to hang it separately - I used chain and a carabiner which worked well. A really pretty addition to my outdoor space.
