Beautiful French inspired bed.

I would love to love this bed; the look is gorgeous. However, after assembly it was always a bit wobbly between the headboard and frame. Over the course of the last two years it grew worse and worse till I worried the bed would fall apart. When my husband disassembled it, we discovered all sorts of flaws behind the bracket. Short screws screwed directly into the seam between two pieces of wood. Worse, the person who constructed it had clearly drilled holes in the wrong places and hardly bothered to repair it. On one side, there were ill-fitted wedges of scrap wood. On the other, the short little screw was basically hanging in midair over the large and messy incorrect holes so all the weight of the bed frame and mattress sat only on the metal bracket. This was the cause of the wobbling. My husband has since managed a repair which I hope will hold, but I've lost trust in the quality of this bed or company.

A magnificent bed for a classic French styled bedroom. Solid construction and my husband had no issue putting the bed together (note it came with no instructions but was easy to screw together). I’m obsessed with the carved pineapple details on the headboard and quality of the rattan. The light amber oak is more beautiful in reality. I’m so happy with this bed frame and bought the side tables plus chest of draws. It looks stunning. Highly recommend it for a grand design that will stand the test of time.

Lovely bed, easy to put together and solid quality

Firstly, all components were extremely well packaged for transport. It’s a little more orange than I anticipated which is a shame as it’s not quite a ‘French Provincial’ colour but beautifully made and overall a lovely piece of furniture. Extremely comprehensive to put together (instructions not provided but common sense tells you what’s what); I did it by myself and had no issues.

Stunning feature piece

Good quality, gorgeous design. There's some real weight to each piece so I can see this lasting. Loved the easy assembly, no instructions included but found each piece was stamped with letters as in A goes with A, B goes with B. Only two types of screws, very obvious where they went so I could see why instructions weren't necessary. Well packed, even though some of the boxes had rips from manhandling, the packaging inside protected all the pieces. Haven't spent decent money on a bed in forever, hit the jackpot with this one, love it. Now to save up for the matching bedside tables.

This bed is absolutely stunning and looks gorgeous next to my inlay side tables. The craftsmanship is superb, and the design adds a touch of elegance to my bedroom. The headboard's texture and the overall finish are beautiful, making it a perfect centerpiece for the room. Highly recommend!

Lovely bed. Looks exactly like image. Vintage charm

This bed looks beautiful however no matter how tightly I screw the nuts and bolts into the bed it squeaks like crazy as if it were very old and worn! I can wobble the headboard even when it's all tightened. Very disappointed for the cost, and don't know what to do about it. I might just have to alter it with permanent fixes to stop any movement which is annoying if I ever need to pull it apart again.

Sturdy great quality bed frame. Slightly concerned when ordering and on arrival felt very light but after assembling very solid sturdy frame. Pricey for a king bed frame but worth it. Very happy.

Lovely classic style bed.... easy to assemble

I absolutely ADORE this bed. It is beautifully made with a lovely, slightly white washed patina. I paired it with French Country 3 drawer weathered bedside tables and they compliment the bed beautifully. I highly recommend this bed.

Love this bed, it looks fantastic set up. It did not come with assembly instructions, but it was not difficult to work out what went where. It is lighter in wood colour than appears in the online photo's - just something to be aware of if you are chasing a darker looking wood. Quality of finishes matched my expectations.

Love the detail, finish and colour of the bed. The high bed head is a perfect backdrop for your pillows.

My wife and I were very impressed with the style of this bed plus the ordering and delivery process was excellent. Our only criticism is that its difficult to tuck sheets into, one has to lift the mattress above the lip of the frame which is slightly awkward.

Beautiful piece of furniture, very sturdy and well-made. Thrilled with my purchase.

I travelled a 6 hour round trip to Canberra to pick up this bed from my grandfathers house (John) as you wouldn't deliver it to my address in West Wyalong NSW. Got home and assembled it and the timber is SO warped that it was nearly impossible to assemble, lucky my partner is a carpenter and helped me. Only 3 of the 4 legs of the bed sit on the ground, the other 1 is in the air. That is how warped this timber is!!! Not impressed as I spent $2300 on this bed.
