I bought this for a low compact dining / work table for a small living space, its perfect with stools or a low bench for seating. Even though you can see the joins in the table top its still a very nice light colour and smooth finish, the rounded ends are the reason i chose this table. The under bench shelf is not really useful for me, i could have done without it but it looks easy to remove.
