Really great value for money. Loads of desk top space. Already feel the difference in my back after a few days of using it up. Just be aware - it is REALLY heavy to lift with a large monitor. I am female, 5'10" and quite strong. I have to remove the 32" monitor (itself heavy) to get it raised. But worth the effort. It would get 5 stars if not for that issue. Mine has a bit of a sloppy finishing/paint job along the front, but nothing I will cry about. Also note - that picture they share is misleading. You need space behind the desk when it is raised. A narrow desk is where this will be an issue. You will see in their sales picture with the brick wall that the desk is a bit away from the wall. Also, that when the desk is down, it adds about 1 foot more width to the front of the desk - just an issue if you have a cramped space. My desk is 70cm deep, so no issue. I am really happy with it. Was looking at a hydraulic version (same concept sitting on the desk) but it was close to $1,000. I say go for it.

Hi Shelley, Were sorry this product wasnt as flexible as youd hoped. However, were glad we resolve this for you.

In principle, this looks great. But in real life when you have loaded your monitors and laptop (I have two monitors + laptop, which is why I wanted a large real estate) it is TOO HEAVY! The gas struts do little except for helping to lower gently. But lifting up is a two-person lift. Don't risk your back trying to do as one person. Very awkward.

I chose extra large as I wanted space for printer as well. It is larger than the photos imply, however, my mistake for my space. It does allow for a small printer so I should not complain. Quality is excellent, hydraulics work easily. XL is for standing only in my opinion. If you are planning a cupboard or nook office this is a good option.

The desk size is fine but the riser mechanism extremely heavy - to the extent it puts me off using it. When the hydraulics kicks in it rises well, but this only occurs half-way through the rising action. The first part - when you're leaning over to pull the desk upwards - it feels like you're pulling up a 20kg weight with your arms wide open, and back at 90deg, pulling upwards. Not a great design. Wouldn't recommend UNLESS you want to leave it up.
