Keep rugs dry & out of direct sunlight or heat; vacuum regularly & only along the fibres; for treating spills: carefully scrape up as much of the spill as possible & blot any liquid residue with colourfast absorbent material; do not drag furniture over the rug; blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; shake dirt & debris out or hand vacuum on the lowest setting & without the beater bar; shedding & sprouting of loose fibres is normal & will diminish over time with regular vacuuming; immediately attend to spills to minimise staining
