I really was looking forward to the delivery of the Delphine Mindi Wood Console Table, but I feel like there are more minuses than plusses. In the plus column, it's a very striking design and had a beautiful finish and wood grain. In the minus column, the piece reeks of some chemical that won't dissipate even after airing on the balcony for 5 days. I also wiped the whole thing down with a 50/50 dilution of vinegar and water. It still has a very strong smell. The piece is also not very well engineered as it is very wobbly even after assembly with 12 screws. I wouldn't put anything heavy on it for fear of collapse. Returning is just not an option.

The product had scratched and dents. One of the dividers that was meant to be screwed in was undone (broken) despite the screws being in. The holes also did not align with where the screws are meant to go in, which left the console table looking lopsided.
