- Care Instructions: Regular care will minimise the need for additional cleaning; vacuum with appropriate attachment; exercise caution when spot cleaning; test clean on non-exposed surface; remove accessories before cleaning; professional laundering recommended; gentle machine or hand wash in cold water, max. 30°C; mild detergents, such as wool mixes are recommended and ensure detergent is fully dissolved; if washing by machine do not overfill load and limit washing time to five minutes or delicate cycle so coated sides do not touch each other, wash each drape separately; do not dry clean, bleach, soak, rub, wring, iron or press on coated side; drip dry in shade; immediately hang curtains by their hooks in an area that will not be damaged by water drops; hang the drape with the header fully open until dry to avoid coated sides touching and shorten drying time; do not use pegs or fold over clothesline; cool iron with a damp cloth between the fabric and iron or press on fabric side only; do not wash drapes excessively, no more than 10 washes, otherwise the backing will break down prematurely; possible shrinkage of 3%
