My sons grew up doing lots of fun things out in the bush. Collecting feathers from Red Tail Black Cockatoo down by the creek is one of them. They would check the ground around the trees for feathers where the birds had been resting. So much excitement for these beautiful feathers.

Kathleen Buzzacot
Kathleen Buzzacott is an artist, poet, designer & entrepreneur, of Pitjantjatjara Scottish and English heritage, born in Alice Springs in Central Australia. Kathleen’s fine Central Desert Dot Painting style celebrates her discovery of and connection to her indigenous heritage. Her paintings are of memories of growing up in the bush, storytelling and a joyful celebration of her Aboriginal heritage.
