Just the thing you're looking for! It's thick and soft underfoot. I've popped this in the play room kids love it. Durable and doesn't slide around like cheaper jute rugs tend too.

This rug is beautiful!! Light in colour to lighten a space but natural and mottled enough that wear, stains/marks aren't obvious. It did shed quite a bit onto my surrounding carpet, hopefully that reduces over time. There's also some sharp ends of the jute that hurt when stepped on! Once I found and trimmed all of these it's lovely and earthy to walk on. It is a natural jute product so all of these quirks plus texture and 'imperfections' are to be expected.

This rug is just beautiful. Perfect size, perfect materials. Absolutely love it in the space that it was purchased for. My French Bulldog loves lying on it as well.
