As kids growing up out bush, this was something we enjoyed after the rain when the flowers bloomed. Purple Pussy cat’s tails were my favourite. I still go out picking wildflowers, it brings me good memories.

Kathleen Buzzacot
Kathleen Buzzacott is an artist, poet, designer & entrepreneur, of Pitjantjatjara Scottish and English heritage, born in Alice Springs in Central Australia. Kathleen’s fine Central Desert Dot Painting style celebrates her discovery of and connection to her indigenous heritage. Her paintings are of memories of growing up in the bush, storytelling and a joyful celebration of her Aboriginal heritage.
