Charcoal Macauley Gas Lift Bed Frame

Bought this frame as I live in a small place without much storage and served as a great hidden spot for it. I did need a couple of my friends to help me build it has as lift mechanism but it was well worth the time and effort. Other than that, I really can’t fault it - it doesn’t creak with toss or turn, it’s solid and looks great! I can, unfortunately, fault my cat, who has decided the fabric deserves some attention from his claws.

A bit confusing the instructions, however the final product works perfect and got a big storage under my mattress.

Took a while to put together but works great. gas struts work better when the mattress is on the bed. looks great. mature and can work with many colours of sheets.

All in all, I was pretty happy with the bed once we finished putting it together. Still, getting it set up wasn't exactly easy. The instructions had numbers for each part, but hardly any of the actual pieces were labelled, so building it felt like working out a puzzle. We had to look closely at everything and compare them to the pictures to make sure nothing was missing before starting. Since the labels weren't clear, it took us a few hours to get it done.

Very happy with this bed. It’s sturdy, looks great and was straightforward to assemble.

The quality is very good. Just the parts are without numbering labels that made it difficult to install.

Love the look of this bed, however 2 screws were missing in my package, and the instructions aren’t clear and hard to follow, none of the parts are labelled as pictured. The gas lifts don’t work. Took 2.5hrs to put together

Easy to put together solo even with the gas lift component. Handy storage. A decent standard thickness mattress will definitely hide the headboard though so not as high as description photo makes it appear. Teen son loves it

Bed looks very nice and as advertised. Only reason not 5 stars is that it is quite complex to put together for non handy people!! Took us hours! All else good.

Nice and solid bed frame. Issues with the construction diy screws blister pack not being labeled correctly making it much longer to assemble
