Close up pic of the zipper made me think there would be more texture to the fabric, but it is basically just two very flat dark grey sheets sown together. The fabric is pretty nice (if that's what you were expecting), and irons well. There are three pin-head sized white-ish dots that appear to be part of the manufacturing process (they are evenly spaced) that are about 40cm from the top and don't get covered by the pillows (going to drive me mad every time I see them). Not bad for the price, but definitely would not call this fabric 'vintage'. Will change them out after summer with something with some more texture as I assume they will fade after the sun gets them for a few months.

The duck feather down quilt and cover sets are wonderful and extremely high quality . We are very impressed how comfortable and cozy these sets are .
