Smart buy! I purchased this stainless steel kitchen prep bench to use as an alternative to the traditional kitchen island benches that retail for double the price. This sleek, height adjustable, industrial, simple and non offensive bench is perfect for the tiny kitchen. You can even use it as a breakfast bar as 2 stools fit comfortably. Remember it is stainless steel so you need to loose the OCD about it getting scratched...it is natural and expected. I just try and limit the really deep ones. I recommend this kitchen island to anyone short on space! very sturdy and super easy to assemble for one person.
