Cassian Grange Power-Loomed Rug

I was quite uncertain about the colour of this rug before purchasing, as the photos on the website varied quite a bit, the description called it “dark grey”, and I received different answers from customer service when I asked about the colour. Now that I have it in person, I’d describe the colour as a very light, soft, warm-toned silver-grey/greige. It is definitely much lighter than I expected from the “dark grey” description. It is a warm-toned grey/greige — not white, not cream, not yellow/beige, and not a cool grey. It is also definitely not a dark grey. What surprised me most is how consistent the colour is in different lighting conditions. I’ve photographed it in daylight, artificial light and different parts of the room, and it consistently reads as this same soft, light silver-grey/greige. I’ll include photos in different lighting to help give a more accurate impression. The texture is subtle and understated, with a nice quality feel. The overall quality is very good, and it looks more expensive than its price point suggests. For me, this is exactly what I wanted: a supporting rug rather than a statement rug. It adds softness, texture and definition without competing with the furniture or other elements in the room. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, neutral rug with subtle texture, particularly if you want something that complements rather than dominates a room. However, I would not buy it expecting a dark grey rug based on the website description. If colour is important to you, hopefully my photos help give a much better idea of what to expect in person.
