Cassian 10 Tier Plant Stand

Easy to assemble, reasonably rigid and the amount of shelf space is a big plus. However, some negatives IMO: 1. There are additional holes in the upright sections which allow an alternative arrangement of the shelves (by swapping the levels of the short and long shelves) though I would question the value of this. The small shelves include a hole at the front - not sure why. The extra holes detract somewhat from the appearance of the unit. 2. The four small felt pads to go under the base shelf are inadequate (easily compressed with the weight of plants and the unit) and insufficient - 8 pads would be better. I bought some third party pads from a well known hardware chain which are better suited. 3. The slatted base shelf will easily collect dirt/dust and removing this completely could be a pain. It would have been preferable to have the bottom shelf elevated by 1-2 cm to allow better access under the unit. 4. The unit does not include a wall fixing strap or similar. So care needs to be taken in siting heavier pots/plants. The package includes a pair of white cotton gloves. Can't see the point of these as assembly of the unit requires handling small screws and an allan key. So, considering the above, somewhat overpriced in my view.

Wear the gloves while assembling. The plant stand is exactly as pictured, but the bamboo is prone to giving splinters! Very happy with purchase otherwise.
