Beautiful addition to your home
North American oak wood is a beautiful timber to style in your home. The sapwood, the outermost portion of a trunk, is light coloured while the heartwood, the central pillar of the tree, is medium brown. The wood grain is typically straight.
Under the hot seat
PU leather is made by coating a layer of polyurethane on top of a layer of fabric. The coating means that it doesn't absorb water, so if there's moisture in the air or spills occur it can simply be wiped off. It's also durable and soft to touch.

Table very sturdy, looks good, easy to clean (tabletop is used for feeding a toddler and has stood up to all manner of stains). Ability to adjust size is very useful for apartment living (keep the spare wood inserts under the bed) and adjust if entertaining etc. The chairs are reasonably comfortable, one minor issues are that the screws intermittently wriggle loose (to the point of falling out) and have to be tightened (more so than other furniture we have owned) - but this has not translated to instability or any other major issues.

The ‘extension’ parts do not fit permanently within the actual table and have to be stored somewhere separately which is not obvious from the website. Nothing provided for storage of these parts either. Poor design and regret the purchase.

I was so surprised to learn that this table goes from round to having 2 extensions- such a bonus to have so many options! Can go from round to oval length in 2 different stages - awesome for family/friend get together a, spreading out for computer time, hosting games night and hobbies such as setting up the sewing machine - love it looks beautiful with it being oak and round edges softens and warms the room. It feels so welcoming! The chairs are comfortable and supportive too! It was suggested I have a second person to help but it was so easy to assemble and put it all together myself. Very happy - it’s awesome - thank you Temple and Webster! I trust your products and they fit perfectly into my home every time. I will be back for more!

it is a lovely table no doubt, but I had expected better quality for the table top. The veneer was already peeling on the side of the table. The legs are solid and good quality. Easy to assemble both table and chairs. Good to note that the extendable portion actually needs to be stored separate to the table and does not fold under the table like some designs. Overall it is good table and chairs are lovely.
