This lamp should be a gorgeous 5 stars but a couple of issues made that impossible: - the top short vertical bar, when screwed on, is very obviously crooked compared with the fixed lower bar and makes the piece look cheap - prepare for a hard time finding a light globe that meets the shade's dimensional requirements. The globe hole in the glass shade is quite narrow and the height of the shade quite short, ruling out most standard globe sizes. Now on my second stick globe attempt and counting without success yet. I really wanted to love this lamp! Hope this info helps someone else.
