Hi Nicola, thanks for getting in touch with us about your purchase - we're so sorry you're disappointed with it! As it has a 100 wool construction, it's possible that what you're experiencing is the natural fibres shedding, which should be expected for at least a few weeks until the material has settled. With proper care, you should find yourself enjoying it more in months to come. Try a rug pad beneath it to protect it against wear use a specialty rug rake to brush it once or twice a week to gently remove loose fibres trim any tufts of wool that appear with sharp scissors - don't pull them vacuum with a gentle suction with the pile, not against it.
