Good if you like lightweight furniture – but it really smells This drawer system is great if you prefer lightweight furniture and don’t plan to keep the same piece forever. However, the major downside is the smell. It’s strong — like hessian sacks that have been sitting in a horse stable for months. That’s now what my bedroom smells like. This seems to be a common trait of the material used in the drawers — I’ve noticed the same smell in some reusable shopping bags. Be aware that it needs a lot of time to air out before placing it in an enclosed space. Also, it can make your clothes smell, especially anything stored in the bottom of the drawer since it’s right up against the base. |
