3* for quality of construction... 4* for comfort... These chairs do look great, and are certainly comfortable to sit on, but the quality of the construction is not what i had hoped for. For example, one seat popped off the chair frame second week in, and the screws would not bind in the existing holes, and this required some improv and a lot of mucking about to fix. They fit my ascetic perfectly, though, where nothing else I found did, so in the end, felt them worth the extra effort...
