Beige Aldan Gas Lift Storage Bed Base

Love this!! I live in a one bedroom apartment so this is a game changer 👏 it took me and (mostly) my dad 2.5 hours to put together, and that was working well as a team and no mistakes. Dads tools made it way easier, using only the Allen keys provided would have taken a lot longer. My mattress is big and heavy so the gas lift doesn’t hold it at the top, I read similar comments before purchasing so nothing surprising and nothing a broom won’t fix 😉 highly recommend for people on a budget looking for extra storage.

Great bed, good quality and it arrived faster than the anticipated delivery date. It was pretty easy to put together and my daughter loves it. This is the second one I have purchased as I bought one for my eldest daughter a while ago and both experiences have been wonderful and both beds have been great quality. Would definitely buy again.

It was quite light in the boxes and I was worried it would feel quite cheap. I must admit, it looks great and got more and more solid as I completed the assembly. For the price, I am very happy with it, there's loads of storage room underneath and the gas struts managed to lift and hold my very heavy, king size mattress easily. Only draw back is that the instructions might as well be for a different bed, or a shelf, or a bbq pit... The pictures do not match the product, the build order makes no sense and you'll spend as much time undoing and replacing bolts in the right position as you do putting them there in the first place. Overall though, looks great, very sturdy and great value.

we selected the king single products by tea because we are putting them in a tiny house on wheels with Ltd room in the main bedroom. This will provide us in between the two birds for easy access of the beds and also the under mattress storage area.

I put this bed together myself, and while it wasn't a complete picnic, it was mostly smooth sailing. Any hiccups were mainly due to me charging ahead and not reading the instructions properly. It lifts and stays even with the mattress on top. I love being able to store items under the bed and have them completely hidden!

This bed base was perfect for our spare room, easy to contrast with good instructions.

Takes a very long time to set up and instructions are not very clear, but the actual final product is great!

Great value storage bed for my spare room. I bought this as it’s a compact size to save space. I put it together alone and it took me a few hours but was straightforward (suggest using a drill to save time tightening all the screws). Would buy again.

Bed frame is exactly what we were after! The fabric is linen look but more hardy! We do have a heavy mattress and the gas lift does not hold it up but still worth having for storage, one person just has to hold it up while putting things in or grabbing out. Would re-purchase again! Fast delivery also.

The bed base worked well initially and was relatively easy to assemble. However, the gas lift mechanism stopped working just after one year, which was past the warrenty period. The issue was caused by the metal bar that supports the gas lift bending inward, which prevented the lifting mechanism from closing. I do have a fairly heavy mattress, so this may have contributed to the problem. If you're using a lighter mattress, you may not experience the same issue. Overall, the bed base performed well at first, but the durability was disappointing.

The gas lift bed is exactly what we needed. Great under storage, & easy to lift up. It cones as a flat pack, though we had no trouble putting it together. Loved the natural linen colour base we chose too.

Great for storage and easy to add/change bed head. However, can be hard to lift with strap when mattress is on and need 2 people to complete the task.
