Ideal for outdoors
Eucalyptus wood has high oil content, so it has excellent resistance to water and rot. The large, fast-growing trees have relatively short rotations for sustainable timber harvesting. It has a lovely reddish-brown colour that turns silver over time if left untreated.
Know the ropes
Polyester rope withstands a wet climate effectively as it doesn't absorb water easily. It's also resistant to mould and mildew, making it a robust material in outdoor furniture. It is reliably strong and durable.
