Too many pieces, some holes not drilled to build furniture.

The desk is quite nice and has a premium feel. I do agree with the other reviews that building it can be very difficult because the instructions do not tell you everything and some items are labled wrong. As well some connections don't have guides so I ended up using a drill. If you have the patience this desk is worth it but if you get frustrated with normal flatpacks I would stay away.

Do not buy. Instructions are impossible and drawer locks break / don't work. Really disappointing that Temple & Webster would have something this poor for sale.

I'm going to preface the following review by saying that I am a 40 year old electrician who has successfully handed over multi million dollar construction projects and I am also well experienced in all things flat pack throughout my years, so when I read the other reviews stating that this desk was a nightmare to put together I thought to myself "surely this was written by some Karen who doesn't know her way around an Allen key and there's no way this desk could possibly defeat me and my million dollar tool belt of wizard magic" BOY WAS I WRONG!!! The instructions are written by the guy who takes my phone order at the local restaurant wrote the DaVinci code, the parts are mislabelled and the instructions don't follow any logical sequence whatsoever. I started building this desk on Friday morning and by smoko I was already planning to roll the job into Saturday. Word of advice for the brave, make sure the side panels on the left and right drawers are correct otherwise the drawer runners will be misaligned and you won't discover it until you try to push your first drawer in, at which point you need to completely disassemble the entire unit. Make sure you put the side vents in the side panels BEFORE you assemble the left and right drawers, don't over tighten the 4 screws that fix the left and right drawers to the table top frame, a fair bit of adjust was required for me to be able to square the drawers up with the top (new holes were drilled), and make sure the aluminium things are in the drawer slots.

Wow! I read the reviews of "this product is hard to assemble" and decided that having worked in the furniture industry that wouldn't be a problem for me. I WAS WRONG! This has to be one of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made. The instructions were absolutely terrible at best! Even the YouTube video was very poor. There were no pilot holes for the table tops, and I had to undo it all to redo the drawer sides as the vague pictures in the instructions were opposite to what it was really meant to be. Once assembled it's just another desk but man oh man I wish I had found something else.

A great desk, however instructions for assembly are completely inadequate, especially for the drawers and the locking mechanism. A couple of screws also missing in the pack. If you are not very handy I would suggest engaging a professional to assemble.

The desk itself is a wonderful addition to our office. Instructions weren't very clear during assembly stage but the team at temple and webster continued to follow up with us to ensure we got the help we needed.
