Does the job. Following the instructions to build this is crucial.

Poor materials. Bad instructions. Low quality materials - the cheapest particle board with un-reinforced screw holes which fall to pieces as soon as you screw anything into them. Make sure that you align the drawer rails correctly otherwise you won't be able to open the drawers.
