Anderson 10 Drawer Chest

For a flat pack was surprisingly heavy which confirmed that the quality was quite good. all the components were labelled well and the instructions easy to follow. it took about 2/12 hours to put together, just be careful not to drop any of the screws when opening the packets as the exact number are provided. all the holes lined up fairly well which made assembly a breeze. however I found a table at about waist height saved a lot of aggravation, particularly with an edge to catch screws when you drop them. one word of advice keep the numbers on the drawers until you have fitted them as the drawers fit in a fixed sequence but after a few swaps we had everything in the right place. This was a replacement for a taller and deeper set of drawers but we found it quite roomy and had no trouble fitting t shirts and other clothes in. the only thing I would have liked to see was an option for soft close drawer runners but that is a minor consideration , we both love the finish and how solid it feels

Takes time and concentration to out together. Screw for the draw runners not great need to be more counter screwed as screw heads catch when opening and closing drawers which is frustrating, I pulled my drawer runners off twice and ended up buying better fitting screws. Not easy to take off runners from the cabinet once it’s all constructed. End result it now works well and looks good. I didn’t put the legs on as I wanted it to sit at the end of a queen bed.

This looks quite nice once complete, but be warned it’s quite challenging to align the drawers and this is a LONG build. Some tips/leanings; 1. use an electric screwdriver !! (just do it, it will save you hours). 2. look closely at step 8, piece 8 is easy to miss. 3. leave piece 10 (backboard) until last, this will make it much easier to redo some of the drawer tracks to realign. 4. in step 3 and 4, leave out the middle screw until the very end, this will make it much easier to realign the drawer tracks. 5. annotate the instructions to label CR CL DR DL on the drawer tracks.

Honestly waste of money. Had such high hopes for this piece. I bought to furnish my first home. This piece had for starters missing section”8” completely missing as it was put together. Missing nails to nail in the base of the draws. And requires an electric drill as there is no holes in the board to screw in. To top it off the draws need to be Tetris into the cupboard and the outside stick out as shown. I’ve spent thousands with temple and Webster and I’m so appalled by the lack of quality and installation standard that this is the last time I will ever purchase here again. My hard earned dollar is better spent where it’s actually valued.

Aesthetically pleasing, absolute nightmare to assemble with very poor quality hardware that has become sloppy and clunky, which I have replaced. We brought 2 units 7 months ago and both have had drawer facia panels fall off revealing 3 insignificant pins holding them on. Would not recommend this product

Once it's put together, it's beautiful. Both cheaper than the equivalent number of drawers from another competitor, and a lot more character in design. Cons: assembly was supposed to take 1 person 1 hr. Hilarious. It took 2 people with plenty of flat pack experience 4hrs. We also got an older manual so our instructions were missing a step, but the service call updated them by email. Not every screw has a pilot hole, which was a bit annoying, and for God's sake, ignore them and use a drill. Otherwise, it's sturdy and we're happy with it.

This is the third piece I’ve brought from T&W. Instructions were easy to follow. It says 1hr assembly time but if you’re doing it on your own allocate for a bit more. Power tools definitely help keep this speedy. There was one piece of info missing from instructions which meant having to redo one bit to allow for the piece to be slotted in. Also, not having any spare screws was not ideal as a couple of the screws were broken in the packet. Had to find a work around in my tool box. After a bit of Tetris and jigging around with the top drawers it finally all sat in place and looks amazing! Happy with the over all product!

** ASSEMBLY STEP 2.5: ATTACH PIECE 8 TO PIECE 7 using G&K ** (Piece 8 can be seen for the first time in Step 8, I have highlighted it in pink) Prepare for significant build time! It took two adults 5hrs to build. While the overall look is great, the quality is lower than expected. The veneer is incredibly thin. In a few places it is poorly applied, bubbling and lifting and in others it is completely absent leaving exposed chipboard.
