This mud scraper works as was intended placed next to my back door mat that I can scrape my shoes clean after a day of gardening without completely destroying my main mat. I do love these. They do make such a difference to the ease of cleaning my shoes. It is also easy to clean extra mud off the mud scraper if there is a build up. If I tried to clean this amount of dirt off on my back door mat it would be a lot harder. I do not always get so dirty in the garden so it also helps to remove any stray grass clippings off the sides of my shoes after the lawn has been mowed. I am very happy with my purchase.
