Aeson Machine Washable Rug

So soft! Great neutral toned rug, hard to say if it’s white or cream based. I think it picks up / reflects what it’s under or near. In some lights it looks more white, others more cream. It has flecks of very light grey and light tan colours through it which blend and complement the neutral palette. Due to its washable and stain resistant features, it does have a slippery feel to it but for under a dining table like we’ve used it, that’s ideal as chairs glide along it rather than getting stuck and bunching it. Packaging was adequate, just creates creases due to being folded but they do flatten out over time or quicker if you steam it. Overall, beautiful rug, luxury feel and easy to style aesthetic!

I was so excited for this rug after seeing the photos online, but unfortunately I’m extremely disappointed. The rug I received looks nothing like the advertised images. The online photos show a light, soft cream rug, whereas mine is much darker with heavy grey and brown markings that make it look stained and dirty. I genuinely thought there was something wrong with it when I first unrolled it. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and a product that actually resembled what was advertised. I had such high hopes because I’ve heard good things about Temple & Webster, but this purchase has been really upsetting. I wouldn’t have chosen this rug if the photos had accurately represented how it looks in real life.

Really impressed with this rug. Its super soft. I was suspicious about everyone calling it soft. I ordered the largest to fit in my lounge. So far I am loving it!

As many other reviewers have mentioned, I was surprised at how very soft this rug is! It came out of the box and unfolded quite well. Most of the creases were gone by the next morning. The non-slip backing of the rug is working really well to hold the rug in place on my wooden floor, even with 2 small pre-schoolers in the house. The rug itself isn't overly thick, and we have used a foam mat underneath to make it a more kid-friendly play space. This hasn't affected the non-stick backing. Also beware, that upon laying it down, it was very slippery on top, and it has transferred to the area around the rug. I assume this is an anti-stain treatment or similar. After a couple of days the slipperiness is starting to reduce.

I've searched far and wide for a large, neutral coloured rug that doesn't break the bank and I've finally found it. This rug is white-based not cream, so works perfectly with my white gloss floor tiles. It is thicker than expected and plush/velvety underfoot - although I would agree with the other reviews that it is a tad slippery. Delivery was very fast. Overall a great find and a very happy customer!

This machine washable rug arrived promptly, and with excellent protection for shipping. Purchased for the dining room which has black grey and cream tones amongst a lot of warm wooden features (late 80's house). It looks perfect and the colour tones are just as I had hoped. The feel underfoot is more plush than you would expect for the thickness of the rug. I had difficulty moving it a) because in larger sizes they are quite heavy, and b) the dogs LOVED the feel of them and would immediately sit on them, requiring a lot of coaxing to stay off while rug was placed in position! The creases are still visible, but I am hoping they will reduce as the rug settles. The colour and patterning are fabulous for hiding dirt until it is time to vacuum. The robot vacuum is not a fan, and the Dyson has to be put on lowest power. I have not used an underlay, but will consider it if I find it problematic for the vacuuming. I have (amazingly) not yet had a spill on it, so will update the review after first wash.
